These two were not about to let a possible rain storm or some fairly high winds ruin their day. The weather cooperated for just long enough to have their dream ceremony in the field in front of the house at The Meadows at Firefly Farm. After the ceremony guests made their way to the reception area while the bridal party went out in the field with photographer Taylor Ann and videographer Erin Pender for photos. After the bridal party returned and were introduced, the bride and groom then joined for their first dance to a mashup of “The Safety Dance” by both Sleeping at Last and Men in Hats. The father of the Bride gave a heartfelt welcome followed by the prayer. As dinner concluded, the Bride and Groom cut the cake and then the toasts began. There were tears and laughs for all. Everyone then came over to the dance floor for Grace to dance with Dad to premixed montage of “My Little Girl, There Goes My Life, and Walking the Dog.” Brett danced with Mom to “You’ll be in my heart” and believe me, no one wasted any time getting right to dancing! We took a few brief breaks for the Man of Honor to sing a song, perform the garter and bouquet toss, a quick dance for Grace and Mom and so, so much fun!! They took off into the night under a shower of sparklers. What an amazing night for 2 amazing families!
