The Oaks at Oxford is an amazing new venue that played host to Kathleen and Hunters big day. Kelli and her team organized an amazing event. The ceremony was held under the big oak tree, and cocktail hour followed by the “bar.” As soon as the bridal party was complete capturing the magic on film with Derrick Eyerman Photography, I introduced the happy couple and they stayed on the dance floor for their first dance to “Heavenly Day” by Patty Griffin. The meal service followed Kathleen’s dance with Dad and Hunters dance with Mom. The Bride and Groom cut the cake and were then toasted by their friends and family. We started the dacign with a generation dance and the couple married the longest was 54 years!! They gave some great advice and then we started dancing! The evening ended with a traditional song “The Parting Glass” which the remaining family and friends sang along. What an awesome night!!
