The weather may have not been great outside, but the ambiance inside the City Club was perfect! The ceremony overlooking the city was followed by cocktail hour with yet another great view of Raleigh. We introduced the bridal party and the newlyweds stayed on the dance floor for their first dance to “God Gave Me You” by Blake Shelton. Sarah’s dad gave a brief welcome and blessing. The Matron of honor had a hard time getting through the tears, but once she got going the toast was sincere, followed by the best man/father of the groom, with an equally warm toast. Sarah danced with Dad to “ Walk With You” by Edwin McCain and Ryan danced with Mom to “A Mothers Prayer” by Bonnie Barbey. We had a snowball dance and the re were still over 10 couples left on the dance floor married more than 30 years!! How encouraging!! The couple married the longest had just celebrated 46 years together and shared some great advice with Ryan & Sarah. We got right to dancing after that and kept partying right up until it was time for the sendoff downstairs. Travis Hinton was there to capture the whole day on film, I’m looking forward to the pics! What a blessing to be a part of this day!
