I have to say, Snipes Farm is a neat venue for a wedding. An extinct dairy farm hidden outside Chapel Hill, and the weather was perfect. The bride walked down the “aisle” to” Blackbird” by The Beatles. The guests retreated to the barn for cocktail hour while the family completed photos. We played “Purple Haze” by Jimi Hendrix for the introductions (they are both ECU grads) and went right into the meal service. After a series of toasts, the bride and groom had their first dance to “ Skinny Love” by Bon Iver. Margo danced with Dad to “ Landslide” by Fleetwood Mac, and then the celebration began! We had to peel the guests off the dance floor to cut the cake and do the bouquet toss. The clear night was a perfect backdrop for Bridget McEnaney to capture the big exit with sparklers. Awesome night!!
